I have 13 years of experience working with the substance abuse population.
Hi, I’m Jamelia Shahid-EL a LCMHC and school counselor with 10+ years of experience. I offer affirming, down-to-earth therapy for children navigating anxiety, identity, burnout, and life transitions. My space is inclusive, trauma-informed, and rooted in care.
I’m a board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in healthcare, providing thoughtful, evidence‐based psychiatric care to adolescents and adults across North Carolina via telehealth.
I focus on thoughtful, individualized medication management with supportive psychotherapy when appropriate while also considering the whole person—your experiences, lifestyle, stressors, and goals.
Hi! My name is Ashlee Lewis. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor located in North Carolina, providing virtual and in-person counseling services to individuals 18 and older. Although my practice is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, I serve a diverse clientele from across the Carolinas. I have received training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, and I'm committed to assisting individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, as a queer-identifying person myself.
I have been working with adults and children in various social work capacities for over 30 years. In 2010 I opened my own clinical practice and have learned and benefited as much from my clients as I believe they have benefited from me by continuing to update my training, being fully present, respectful and supportive in each session and honoring each individual's unique needs.
As a board-certified psychotherapist, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to mental stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for over 10 years. I have had the opportunity to support individuals and families in their journey to healing and resilience.
I attended the University of South Carolina, served in the United States Air Force.
