Life can be complicated and having someone in your corner can ease fears and worries while allowing for growth and healing. My passion as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is working with individuals and couples who have experienced trauma and difficult times.
Hi, I’m Dr. Nicole Nocera, a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) with 10 years of clinical training, education, and experience. My holistic approach to therapy focuses on restoring balance in both mind and body. I specialize in supporting adults with depression, anxiety, OCD, work stress/burnout, relationship stress, and neurodiverse brain styles.
I have been a licensed therapist in the Boston area for 25 years having graduated from the University of Virginia and Boston University School of Social Work. I have experience with inpatient and partial hospital treatment, but found that I love working with clients individually on an outpatient basis. Though I worked in a substance abuse program, my clients presented with many other issues including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, self-esteem, grief and loss, and relationship conflicts.
Welcome!
I am a Christian Counselor who is dedicated to helping adults heal and recover from mental health and substance abuse problems. I offer treatment for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues.
A bit about my educational journey: Upon Graduating from High School in Oregon, I headed East. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College in Boston where I minored in Psychology. My Masters in Clinical Mental Health came years later from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
I’m Mackenzie, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults find balance, clarity, and confidence through compassionate, evidence-based care. I believe mental health treatment should feel personal, not clinical.
I am passionate about supporting my clients to feel congruent internally, so they can further understand and communicate their needs externally. While talking is the most obvious way for communication, I also love to incorporate our somatic experiences during sessions (with your agreement, of course). As an immigrant from Taiwan, it's also my mission to provide my expertise for people struggling with "fit in", while transitioning to any new environments.
