Are you feeling stuck in patterns you can’t break, overwhelmed by anxiety, or healing from relationships that left lasting wounds? My name is Amy, and I’m a licensed professional counselor in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I support adolescents and adults working through anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and substance use concerns.
My approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQ-affirming, and deeply collaborative. I prioritize emotional safety, empowerment, and choice—meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll explore what you want to shift or strengthen and set goals that feel meaningful to you, whether that’s rebuilding self-esteem, improving communication and relationships, or interrupting long-standing patterns that no longer serve you.
Reaching out for support takes real courage. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to offer steady guidance, compassion, and evidence-based tools as you move toward greater balance, connection, and self-trust.
Welcome. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in PA and MI. I offer practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Coping with a sever Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for the past 20+ years allowed me to experience both side of the counselor-counselee dynamic. Choosing to start therapy is a courageous step, and I believe that a strong, supportive relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist, my approach is both evidence-based and deeply person-centered. I work to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard, blending clinical expertise with genuine empathy. Together, we’ll navigate life’s complexities and develop the tools you need to move forward with resilience and clarity. I’ve always believed that the best therapy happens when clinical expertise meets genuine human connection. My journey in this field began at Penn State, and I later sharpened my skills through a Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Widener University. But while my degrees hang on the wall, my heart is in the work of helping people navigate the beautiful, messy reality of everyday life.
When I’m not in the office, I’m living my own 'real life'—which usually involves cheering from the sidelines at my son’s lacrosse games or sitting in the audience at my daughter’s dance competitions. I’m a firm believer that we’re all works in progress, and I’d be honored to support you in yours.
I have 15+ years in the psychiatric-mental health field. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and have an additional certification in treating clients with addiction (CARN-AP).
