I look forward to meeting with you to help you to identify and understand your problems. I will guide you through healthy coping, self-care, and improved relationships.
I am dedicated to my work with adolescents, adults, & families. My gift is in seeing the big picture. Having obtained my Clinical License (LCSW) & now in private practice, I am accepting clients ages 12 and above. My experience has primarily focused on supporting those with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief.
I am passionate about helping individuals on journeys of self-discovery who seek a better quality of life. Working with couples and families is a strength of mine, as I support clients in uncovering their strengths to thrive within relationships. Family Therapy provides a safe, supportive space for people to share their stories and feel truly heard.
With 20+ years of experience in Social Work, including time in London, I bring a global view to my practice. A New Jersey native, I studied acting at NYU and later earned my Juris Doctor. Returning to my true passion, I completed my MSW at California State university at Long Beach, which was life-changing. My 19 years as a pediatric trauma social worker taught me the value of calm in crisis.
I like to help my clients recreate their narrative through expressive forms of art. In my practice I've only ever had clients who were visionaries. After all, aren't visionaries those who see things others don't see ... yet? Here's to system redesign!
I believe therapy can provide that for those who are looking to work towards reaching their life's goals. Whether you want to address mental health concerns, past trauma or strategies to cope with life transitions, I help my clients to identify barriers in their thought patterns and present tools to build upon their resiliency.
Hi! I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I received my PsyD from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I've been practicing for almost 30 years and I always have, and still do, love this work. I feel I can be most helpful with the following mental health challenges: healing from childhood trauma(s), LGBTQIA+ issues, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, sexual assault, identity issues, and grief.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and the impact of racial and ethnic social injustices. I work with clients who are seeking support during difficult life experiences and who want to better understand themselves and their relationships.
