I started my career in psychology and counseling when I experienced a suicide in my family. It gave me the courage to make changes for myself, and help people around me who were also suffering grief, loss, and depression. I'm an advocate of mental health issues, a proud adoptee, and a supporter of the arts. I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been working with individuals, teens, and families for over 10 years.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked with adolescents, adults and couples facing I a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ related issues, OCD, ADHD, career challenges and parenting stresses. I have also helped people who have experience trauma or emotional abuse and have provided a safe space to work through sensitive issues.

I am passionate about helping individuals and families move toward the lives they want to build, and I especially enjoy working with children - teaching skills and laying a strong foundation they can rely on when challenges arise.

I am a Licensed New York State Marriage and Family Therapist. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in therapy as well as other modalities. ACT Therapy focuses on increasing mindfulness skills that help her patients recognize and address challenges that have occurred due to attempts at suppressing, managing, or trying to control one’s emotional experiences.
