"My passion is to assist people in rediscovering their innate super powers. I have been working with individuals of all ages, families of all stages as well as singles and couples since 2006. Currently, my focus is addressing Trauma in all of its manifestations. Therefore, I have attained certification in EMDR by EMDRIA. I enjoy using a psychodynamic approach as well as CBT techniques. I have extensive exposure to play therapy and attachment focused therapy."

Hello, and Welcome! My name is Jacqueline Gallo. I look forward to helping you achieve the best possible you!
Are you feeling overwhelmed by relationship stress, anxiety, or the pressures of navigating early adulthood? I work with young adult women across New York via telehealth who want to better understand their relationship patterns, manage anxiety, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.
With 8 years of experience providing individual and couples therapy, my work is informed by Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy, approaches that help uncover the emotional and relational patterns that shape how we connect with others. Together, we explore how past experiences, attachment styles, and current stressors influence your relationships and emotional well-being.
As a first-generation immigrant from NYC, I bring a culturally responsive perspective to conversations around identity, family expectations, and navigating different cultural worlds.
I currently offer a short-term therapy model (8 sessions) designed to help clients gain insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful shifts in how they relate to themselves and others. At the end of the initial course, we can revisit progress and determine whether extending to 10–12 sessions would be helpful.
I am a doctorally prepared, certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and Family Health
I use an integrative approach to therapy tailoring to the uniqueness of each of my clients. I create a warm, loving, and comfortable atmosphere for individuals to feel heard and validated.
