Hello, I’m Donya, and I welcome you to a space where growth and self-discovery are nurtured. My approach to therapy is Humanistic and Client Centered, focusing on empowering you to uncover and become the best version of yourself.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience providing compassionate, person-centered therapy to adults navigating anxiety, depression, serious mental illness, trauma, and complex life stressors. My clinical background spans community mental health, supportive housing, and outreach-based services, allowing me to work effectively with individuals facing co-occurring disorders, housing instability, and major life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. My approach is collaborative and practical, helping clients identify strengths, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change at their own pace.
I am a clinical social worker, with training specifically catering to those impacted by trauma and high-conflict. I've spent years facilitating healing for those affected by family issues, domestic violence, trauma or abuse, and anxiety.
As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience, I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. My commitment to paying it forward and leading with kindness drives my passion for helping others. I've worked extensively with terminally ill clients, families, adults, children, and individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and various other challenges.
