Thank you for taking a moment to check out my therapy profile. Thank you also for taking the first step towards healing. This process is about you and helping you live life as optimally as possible. I am a LICSW ( Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) in both Vermont and Massachusetts.
Since 2015, I have been practicing independently, but I have been in the social work field since 2007.
The better part of my career was spent in public schools as a school social worker. I have in-depth knowledge of the IEP/504 Process, in addition to the struggles and frustrations of each process. Professionally, as a former educator, I have experienced firsthand the struggles and joys of public education. As a Volunteer Firefighter, who is Pro Board Certified, I have a unique connection to being a first responder in today's World. Most importantly, as an empathetic social worker with a sense of humor, I want to make therapy comfortable and accessible to everyone.
At this time, I provide individual sessions, couples therapy, and family therapy via tele-health. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. The areas of mental health that I specialize in are: Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Women's Health, First Responder Care, and Life Changes. If you are a team player looking for a teammate to work with you, I am your therapist! We will explore the goals you want to accomplish and develop a game plan to make them possible.
As a social worker, I want my clients to know that I approach our work together with empathy, respect, and without judgment. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to work collaboratively with you to build on your strengths and help you reach your goals. I have a particular focus in working with Neurodiverse people and college age. I am here to listen, support, and advocate alongside you as we navigate challenges together.
Come and start your journey towards a better life. I will help you develop resilience and strengthen your inner core. I will work with you to develop problem solving skills, and learn effective communication skills. I am an empathetic listener with over 10 years of experience in this field.
I'll help you gain tangible skills to manage life's challenges. We’ll honor your past experiences while staying focused on creating a healthier, more intentional future.
