I have been a counselor for more than 30 years. I remain passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and believe that genuine caring is an essential element to an effective counseling relationship. Over the years I have worked with clients with significant trauma and loss. I consider it a privilege to stand with another individual as he or she resolves great pain. I specialize in treating clients with trauma, relationship issues, and borderline personality disorder.
I have over 20 years of experience providing therapy to adults. During this time, I have worked with thousands of clients. I offer you all of this experience while we work towards your goals.
Hi! My name is Wendy Pugh. I graduated with a master's in social work from The Ohio State University, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I enjoy working with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I specialize in treating LGBTQIA issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
I have 20 years’ experience providing direct client service to individuals and families. My experience has included supporting patients and families with chronic medical conditions; Substance-abuse treatment, working with individuals who are justice involved, and work with homeless families and children. I have also served in various program leadership roles and as a surveyor of opioid treatment programs with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities (CARF).
I am passionate about providing treatment through a faith-centered lens of restoration. I work with those experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic-stress, addiction, and attention deficit. My areas of clinical interest are social work with older adults, faith-based emotional recovery, spiritual formation, post-traumatic growth, and Bowen Family systems Theory. I care to incorporate the condition of your heart and needs into counseling interventions.
I work best with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who may appear ‘fine’ on the outside but feel disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are navigating identity shifts, relationship stress, or life transitions and want to build self-trust a deeper connection with themselves.
I'm Sadie Lipman. I have over 7 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with adult clients in Virginia and Florida virtually. I would describe my therapy approach as warm, empowering, and reliable. This is therapy that is up-to-date and down-to-earth. As a therapist, I blend new‐age thinking with reliable, evidence‐based interventions.
Life is full of challenges, and at times it can feel overwhelming to navigate everything that is happening. You may feel stressed, worried, sad, or unsure of how to move forward. Perhaps you are experiencing grief, going through a divorce, facing substance use challenges, struggling in a stressful work environment, or dealing with relationship or communication difficulties. You may feel lost — unsure of what to do, who to talk to, or how to manage different situations.
That is where I come in.
Reaching out for support is the first step toward healing and positive change. It may be the first step toward moving forward, becoming more aware of your triggers and learning healthier ways to respond, or finding space to heal, forgive, and reconnect with gratitude and happiness.
I help women and teenagers get back to their most confident, grounded selves, even in their lowest, messiest, most overwhelming moments. My work is about cutting through the noise and helping clients reconnect with who they are underneath the anxiety, life transitions, self-doubt, or emotional burnout.
