I hold a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles.
I have passionately and successfully worked in this field for close to 30 years, as a Casemanager in a domestic violence shelter; as a Medical Social Worker in hospitals and nursing homes. with the families of Neonates and those of the Elderly; and for the past 20 years in Private Practice in the areas of Trauma, Substance abuse and more recently in Equine Assisted Therapy. I work virtually and in person
I am a licensed therapist and have worked in the field of mental health for over 10 years. During that time, I have worked extensively with children, teens, adults, and families experiencing a myriad of issues that obstruct their happiness, such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, parenting, and self-esteem. My current focus is working with young, career-driven men work through issues involving low self-esteem, dating/relationship difficulties, and life transition stressors.
I’m a licensed therapist with a background in supporting adults and teens through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship stress. I earned my graduate degree in counseling and have worked in both community-based and private practice settings, which has helped me understand the real-life pressures people carry—work, family, finances, identity, and burnout.
My style is practical and compassionate: we look at patterns, the stories you’ve learned to live by, and what it would feel like to respond differently—more grounded, more empowered, and more like “you.” I often integrate inner child work, trauma-informed care, and skills for emotional regulation and ADHD/executive functioning.
I primarily work with adults who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, and create more secure connection.

Therapy is for anyone and not a one-size-fits-all routine. I believe in working alongside clients to determine the best path forward. A safe space will always be provided but growth comes from discomfort and admitting to how we exist outside of what may be considered normal.

You often feel misunderstood or have been told you're "too much," and deep down, you long to be truly seen and known. Family and societal systems may have taught you to shrink yourself to fit in or please others, making you highly skilled at masking your true self. You're intuitive, creative, and carry a rich inner world. Still, it can feel like you weren’t dealt the best hand in life, leaving you stuck, wondering if anyone else could ever truly relate. After spending so long prioritizing others’ needs, you're finally ready to cultivate a vibrant, purposeful life that’s fully your own.
