I specialize in helping clients to truly get to know themselves and the thoughts in their head (whether conscious or subconscious) to break patterns, decrease people-pleasing, increase self-esteem, relieve stress and anxiety, address interpersonal issues, and increase their life satisfaction. Sometimes in life, we might feel stuck in a rut. My role is to help you work yourself out of that rut. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to modify your thoughts and in turn your behavior. I also use interpersonal therapy to increase effectiveness within your relationships. Solution focused therapy helps me, to help you, find the answers or resources that are already within you.
I have a License in Clinical Social Work and have a background working in both child welfare and community mental health. I've worked with countless families, parents, children, and adolescent. I see my client's as part of a system; recognizing that our environment influences our development in childhood and throughout adulthood. I believe that with insight and cognitive reframing, we can take control of our lives.
Originally from Austria, I moved to the United States in 2017 on a full athletic scholarship for cross-country and track. Prior to beginning my journey in America, I competed as a professional triathlete for several years. I initially studied Psychology and Sports at the University of Vienna before earning two Bachelor's degrees in Kentucky, followed by a Master’s degree and a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology in Orange County, California.
I graduated from USC School of Social Work in 2016 and have over 9 years of community based therapy experience with various clients of differing cultural backgrounds and mental health needs within Los Angeles county. My specialty focus is with the Deaf community and advocacy for accessible services.
I specialize in assisting children, individuals, couples, and families dealing with everyday stress, burnout, mood and anxiety issues, relationship challenges, complex trauma, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. My primary goal is to promote self-understanding and overall well-being of my clients. To achieve this, I am dedicated to aiding clients in developing effective coping strategies, enhancing emotional intelligence, and fostering healthier relationships with themselves and others.
I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my masters degree in Social Work from CSU Bakersfield. I have been working with children and adolescents for the past five years. My work is person-centered, who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.
